What are the responsibilities and job description for the Peds / Family Nurse Practitioner position at Northwest Spokane Pediatrics?
We have grown at our new location and would like to find another great provider to join our team! NWSP is not a "one size fits all" pediatric office. Our family of providers and staff enjoy getting to know our patients and parents... We pride ourselves in doing things a little different and a little more personal in order to provide the best care possible. NWSP is nurse practitioner owned clinic and we want our providers to practice the way that works best for their patients.
Looking for More?
If you are tired of the corporate care model and want to be part of something a little more meaningful, we'd love to talk with you! We are proud to offer advanced services for the kids and families we serve. This is a primary care position but we aim to offer excellence and convenience all in one place, so you'll have the opportunity to grow your skill set into laser scalpel procedures, sutures, behavior management, circumcisions, cryo-surgery, dermatology and more. Our office uses the latest point of care lab equipment available and you'll have the pleasure of managing patients and charting with Office Practicum, the premiere pediatric EHR. We even have our own in house OT, and ST. Our sensory gym is one of a kind and compliments our status as a Center of Excellence for autism diagnosis, treatment, and referral.
What We Need
We're not going to bore you with a description of the job, we hope that if you're a provider you already know those basics... The ideal applicant is already licensed in WA state as a Nurse practitioner and has recent experience in pediatric primary care. We'll take care of any credentialing applications or changes. We're looking for a full time provider (4-5 days a week), but we're open to creative schedules or starting part time with a plan to advance to full time in the future.
More About Us...
Brooke Jordan, ARNP is the owner and has been a provider at NWSP for the last 17 years. The changes she has made here are worthy of an "Extreme Makeover" episode... New building, all new equipment, new computers, the coolest waiting room... the list goes on. There are currently 7 NP's working now, we're looking to add #8. We're excited about the future and are looking for a professional and fun practitioner to be a part of the NWSP family.
Why Here?
We run our practice with a guiding principle that happy employees and a great environment result in happy patients and ultimately excellent care. If a flexible schedule, great benefits, and working with kids (while wearing jeans) sounds like your perfect match, we think you should check us out and see if you are a good fit. We honor personal medical freedom.
