What are the responsibilities and job description for the Humanities Instructor (PT) position at Northwest State Community College?
NSCC is looking for qualified Humanities Instructors to teach in-person at our Steubenville, OH location on Saturdays, beginning in August. The part-time instructor will work closely with full-time faculty and the dean in their leadership, development, assessment and evaluation of curriculum and will provide assessment and other student retention and success-related information as required. The qualified applicant must have a Master’s degree in culture studies, humanities, literature, language, philosophy, religion, or art or a master’s degree and a cohesive set of at least 18 semester credit hours of graduate coursework 18 graduate hours in
Humanities, Liberal Arts, or Liberal Studies. Interested candidates need to submit an online employment application, resume and copies of their unofficial transcripts to be considered. These documents should be uploaded as part of the application process.
