Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our skilled team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will learn essential skills and techniques necessary for a successful career in carpentry, including various aspects of construction and installation.

Duties

• Assist in the installation of siding, flooring, and cabinets under the supervision of a qualified carpenter.
• Learn to read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications.
• Participate in door hanging and other finishing tasks to ensure quality workmanship.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with caulking and sealing projects to enhance durability and aesthetics.
• Gain experience in assembling various structures and components as directed by senior carpenters.
• Support CNC operations as needed, learning about machine setup and maintenance.

Experience

• required experience includes using power tools (drills, impacts, saws, etc.) must be able to accurately read a tape measure and have basic understanding of construction
• Familiarity with basic carpentry tools and techniques is mandatory
• A background or interest in construction or woodworking will be beneficial for your development in this role.
• Must demonstrate an eagerness to acquire new skills related to siding installation, flooring installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, caulking, assembling components, and operating hand tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
