Job Description

Description : We are looking for caregivers who are interested in working a Day shift with adults with developmental disabilities. All day shifts start as early as 7am.

We provide 75 hours of paid training by experienced staff.

Benefits

20.50 / hour
Hire on / Stay on Bonus! $500 after completing your 90 days $500 after 6 months with all training completed

PT Day shift 21-32 hours / week
FT Day shift 24-40 hrs / week
Work a 2 day on / 2day off / every other weekend shift
75 Hours of Paid Caregiver training
Medical / Dental / Vision / HSA / life insurance benefits after 60 days (must work avg of 30 hours / week)
401K with matching after 1 year if benefit eligible

Key Responsibilities

Assisting individuals with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting / personal hygiene

Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safe

Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals / snacks

Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments

Accompany individuals on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.)

Assist individuals with self-administration of medications

Document services provided using computer

Requirements : Requirements

Be at least 18 Years or older

Be able to pass a Washington State Criminal Background Check and complete fingerprints

Be able to provide high school diploma or high school transcript or GED

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, turn, sit, stand for periods of time

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Have basic computer skills

Have good problem solving skills working as a team
