Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Clinical Laboratory to join our esteemed clients team in Paris Texas. This is a full time permanent position with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth within our company.
As the Director of Clinical Laboratory you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our clients clinical laboratory ensuring that all testing and analysis is conducted accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with a team of laboratory technicians and scientists to maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the daily operations of the clinical laboratory including scheduling staffing and resource management
Ensure that all testing and analysis is conducted accurately and efficiently in accordance with established protocols and procedures
Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and precision
Monitor and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards including CLIA and CAP
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results
Manage and mentor laboratory staff providing guidance and support for their professional development
Stay current with industry developments and advancements in laboratory technology and make recommendations for implementation as appropriate
Prepare and manage the laboratory budget ensuring efficient use of resources and costeffective operations
Serve as a point of contact for clients and external partners addressing any questions or concerns related to laboratory services
Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field
Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from a recognized accrediting agency
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong knowledge of laboratory operations regulations and quality control processes
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
Proficient in the use of laboratory information systems and other relevant technology
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment
Experience managing budgets and resources
