Position Overview :
As the Pharmacy Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy department. This includes managing a team of pharmacists and technicians, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a team of pharmacists and technicians, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including maintaining accurate records and reporting
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and other departments within the organization
- Monitor and analyze pharmacy metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and quality of care
- Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff regarding patient care and medication management
