Position: Maintenance Manager
Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our client's team on a full-time, permanent basis. As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all maintenance operations for our client, ensuring that our facilities and equipment are kept in top working condition. Viable candidates will bring the following attributes to the role:
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Safety Prioritization: Ability to prioritize and implement safety-related requests.
- Analytical Skills: Proven analytical and quality improvement abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Preferred experience with ERP Systems, such as SAP. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and maintenance scheduling systems.
- Emergency Response: Willingness to respond to emergency situations outside of normal work hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure optimal functioning of all equipment and facilities
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement solutions
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure maintenance needs are met without disrupting daily operations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, costs, and inventory
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring expenses are within budget
- Source and negotiate with external vendors for maintenance services and supplies
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements in maintenance management
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven experience managing a team and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with budgeting and cost management
- Proficiency in computer software and maintenance management systems
