We are currently seeking a Manager of Application Development for a preferred client in Pittsburgh, PA. This role will be a full-time, onsite role. The Manager of Application Development is responsible for the ongoing support and enhancement of Hyperion Applications, Hyperion Server Infrastructure, SAS (Statistical Analysis System) infrastructure and SAS Applications.
Position Overview :
As the Manager of Application Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our client's applications. You will lead a team of developers and work closely with other departments to ensure our applications meet the needs of our clients and internal stakeholders. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Develop and maintain applications that meet the company's standards and client requirements
- Monitor and analyze application performance, identifying and addressing any issues or bugs in a timely manner
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our applications
- Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code is being produced
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and innovation
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of projects and team performance
