Job Description :
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the grinding process and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency. This includes working closely with our clients production team to develop and implement new processes troubleshoot any issues that arise and continuously improve our operations. You will also play a key role in maintaining our equipment and ensuring it is operating at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement new grinding processes to improve quality and efficiency
Work closely with production team to troubleshoot any issues and minimize downtime
Conduct regular equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance
Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement costsaving initiatives
Train and mentor production team on proper grinding techniques and safety procedures
Stay uptodate on industry trends and advancements in grinding technology
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role preferably in grinding
Strong knowledge of grinding processes and equipment
Experience with CAD / CAM software
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plus
