Job Overview :
Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pharmacist to join our clients team on a fulltime basis. As a pharmacist you will be responsible for dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care to our clients patients. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities :
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions and established procedures
Counsel patients on proper medication use potential side effects and drug interactions
Monitor patient drug therapies for effectiveness and potential adverse reactions
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients
Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations
Participate in inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
Stay current on industry developments and new medications through continuing education and professional development opportunities
Qualifications :
Bachelors or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Active pharmacist license in the state of New York
Minimum of four years experience as a licensed pharmacist
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles practices and laws
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficient in computer systems and pharmacy software
Working Conditions :
The work environment is fastpaced and may require standing for extended periods. The Pharmacist may also be required to lift and move heavy boxes of medications and supplies.
