Position : Supplier Technical Engineer (STE)
Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supplier Technical Engineer (STE) to join our clients team on a fulltime permanent basis. Responsibilities :
Collaborate with suppliers to identify technical requirements and ensure timely delivery of quality products and services
Conduct technical evaluations of supplier capabilities and provide recommendations for improvement
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure effective communication and problem resolution
Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement to optimize supply chain operations
Participate in supplier audits and provide technical expertise and support
Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure supplier technical requirements are met
Provide technical support to resolve any issues related to supplier products or services
Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements to identify potential new suppliers and technologies
Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports related to supplier performance and evaluations
Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role preferably in supplier management
Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to interpret technical specifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Experience with supplier audits and evaluations
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical documentation software
Willingness to travel as needed
