Experienced Press Brake Operator {SWING SHIFT}

We currently looking for a highly skilled candidate in the Press Brake Operator position on our SWING SHIFT 4:15pm-2:15am, Monday - Thursday (40 hours per week) with possible overtime on Fridays)

What you can expect to do day to day:

• Use a new CNC controlled Cincinnati and Bystronic 300T press brake to form laser-cut parts
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints
• Understand machine start up and shut down protocols
• Program press computer for proper dimensions and bends according to blueprints
• Inputting tools into press computer
• Make proper tool selection to accomplish proper dimensions and radius according to blueprints
• Use bend allowances for various thicknesses and lengths of material to produce to custom blueprints and part layouts
• Work with various metal types: Steel – HR, HRPO, CR, Galv, Tread Plate Stainless Steel – 304 in Mill, 2B, & #4 finish Aluminum – 5052, 6061, Diamond Plate
• Work with gage and heavy materials from 16g to 1/2”
• Work with lengths up to 12ft
• Responsible for preventative maintenance of press
• Keep area organized and clean within 5S standards
• Use of remote overhead crane
• Use of forklift

What you bring to the table:

• Ability to read prints for bending
• Ability to form parts to meet print dimensions
• Ability to set up tooling
• 5 years experience (Preferred)
• Experience with calipers, micrometer, and CNC controls
• Have reliable and predictable attendance
• Be self-motivated and self-directed
• Attention to detail
• Work well with a team
