Northwest Technologies, Inc. is a leader in metal manufacturing and fabrication, serving a wide range of industries. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable General Shop Laborer for our Forming Department on the Day Shift (Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, 40 hours/week).
What you'll do:
- Work in various areas of the shop, adapting to different tasks both independently and as part of a team
- Move, stack, store, and transfer materials, supplies, and merchandise
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace, adhering to safety standards
- Operate and perform daily maintenance on tools and machinery
- Accurately count parts and handle data entry tasks
- Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, cranes, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with CNC interfaces
- Forklift operation experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Dependable, with a strong attendance record
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
