Job Description: Supports the company’s mission statement and its values. Responsible for a wide variety of building tasks, maintenance, and assignments at Northwest Technologies, Inc., including maintenance on all machines, vehicles, and forklifts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs a wide variety of general and skilled maintenance activities including but not limited to press brakes, lasers, computer numeric control machines (mills and lathes), cranes, and compressors.
- Performs regular maintenance on company vehicles.
- Performs regular forklift inspections.
- Assists machine operators in maintenance of the machines as necessary.
- Creates a plan for regular maintenance.
- Troubleshoots problems, determines correct action needed, and makes repairs.
- Performs research to best complete projects.
- Stays within projected budget for projects.
- Exercises sound judgment to determine work assignments and procedures and prioritize jobs.
- Maintains overall housekeeping and maintenance of safety standards.
- Maintains operation and daily maintenance of any tools and machinery used.
- Responsible for accuracy in counting parts and data entry (MIETrak) transactions supporting job activities.
- Adheres to all established procedures as defined by the company procedures, process flows, work instructions, safety procedures, and employee handbook.
