We are seeking an experienced Traffic Control Supervisor for Montgomery County, PA and surrounding area.

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides daily supervision of traffic setup and hourly employees.

  • Manage daily crews
  • Perform job site visits
  • Prepare daily, weekly reports
  • Customer Liaison
  • Oversee maintenance of equipment
  • Conduct tool box safety talks with staff
  • Handle safety incident reporting
  • Conduct training and testing for employees
  • Assist in employee disciplinary matters

Supervisory Responsibility -This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment- Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme heat, near moving mechanical parts and includes occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and to vibration. Maybe exposed to hazardous tools and equipment.

Physical Demands - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work-This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.to 3 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required.

Travel-There is no anticipated overnight travel for this position. Some local day travel may be required.

Required Education and Experience -High school diploma/GED and 2-3 years of supervisory experience

Preferred Education and Experience - Associates Degree

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
