About the Position
Northwest Yeshiva High School (NYHS), a Modern Orthodox High School located in beautiful Mercer Island, Washington, seeks a Mashgiach Ruchani beginning July 1, 2025. The Mashgiach Ruchani will oversee the religious guidance in the school, take lead in the Tefillah experience for students, serve on the Educational Leadership Team, serve as a full-time Judaic Studies teacher, head all student activities and programming and provide Israel Guidance for male students. Through dynamic lessons, chaburot, onegs, innovative programs for parents and students, and strategic thinking beyond the classroom, the Mashgiach Ruchani will be instrumental in building a culture of commitment and love of Torah and Judaism. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic Jewish educator grounded in educational best practices who seeks to form deep and meaningful relationships with students that inspire leadership and growth. Semicha and graduate degree are strongly preferred.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic Jewish educator with 2-4 years of teaching and / or camp experience who seeks to form deep and meaningful relationships with students to inspire their leadership and growth. A master’s degree is preferred; however, alternative relevant experience in informal or experiential education and a proven track record of success will be seriously considered.
This is a safety sensitive position which will require satisfactory completion of a Background Check, Pre-Employment Drug Screen (in accordance to Washington laws), Reference Checks, and fingerprinting.
