Position : Sound to Summit Youth Community Crew
Dates : Session One- June 23- July 25, 2025
Session Two- July 29- August 29,2025
Location : Tacoma, Lakewood, and Olympia WA
Details : Sound to Summit crews will be comprised of youth (15-18) and 2 adult leaders. They will work for five weeks in total. The first four will be working with the local city and county parks departments completing a variety of projects. Youth will meet each morning at the crew vehicle which is centrally located in town, complete around 6.5 hours of work, have one hour of education, and then return to the original meeting location. The crews' fifth week will take them to a national park to complete conservation projects, recreate, and learn about natural resources and the outdoors. During this fifth and final week they will camp in the National park the entire time. Northwest Youth Corps will provide food, transportation, and can help provide additional required camping equipment if
needed.
