Description
Soar Learning Center, located in Saint Albans Bay, Vermont, is seeking motivated individuals to work as Behavior Interventionists in an Independent School and Day Treatment setting. If you want to make a positive impact in the community, then Soar Learning Center might be the place for you! Soar provides therapeutic and behavioral supports to K-12 students during the regular academic school year in addition to a four week summer program.
Qualified applicants will be able to assist in the implementation of behavior plans within in a small classroom setting. Must have the ability to problem-solve and communicate with both elementary and adolescent students, as well as effectively manage crisis situations. Candidates must be able to recognize and build on student and family strengths as the basis for intervention. WE ARE READY TO TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON!
Other responsibilities include data collection and the writing of daily progress notes. Strong written and oral communication skills are of critical importance, as is the ability to work well as a member of an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
