Are you interested in sharpening your clinical skills with regard to addressing the effects of stress and trauma? Are you interested in working with a supportive team of professionals who are motivated to provide swift access to clinically sound treatment?
NCSS is seeking an Access Clinician to provide solution-focused and trauma-informed treatments to individuals who are experiencing acute distress or recent trauma. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a related counseling field and be licensed or licensure eligible. A licensed clinician is preferred; however, we welcome early career therapists working toward licensure. Candidates should have experience completing psychosocial evaluations and diagnosing individuals using DSM-IV criteria. The Access Clinician would provide clinically relevant, short-term treatment, focused on mitigating the long-term effects of stress or trauma. As well as work with individuals to increase skills to remain safely in the community. Free supervision towards licensure is provided.
