About the Position
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the protection of our natural gas system. Working under the guidance of a local corrosion technician, you will perform pipe to soil potential readings, access customer premises, and upload data into our database.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct mandatory inspections on steel distribution lines
- Collaborate with the Division Corrosion Technician on various tasks
- Accurately enter data into a handheld device
- A standard workweek involves 4-10 hour days, with regular three-day weekends
Essential Qualifications:
- Cultivate a safe working environment
- Excel in interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate a valid driver's license and clean driving history
- Meet the qualifications for Operator Qualified status
- Operate a computer efficiently to collect data and transfer it to our system
- Demonstrate reliability and independence in work
- Meet the minimum age requirement and possess a high school diploma or equivalent
