Summer Opportunity
We are seeking a Corrosion Aide to join our team at NorthWestern Energy for the summer season. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while working outdoors, helping to protect our essential underground natural gas system.
The selected candidate will work under the direction of the local corrosion technician, performing pipe-to-soil potential readings and other cathodic survey work. You will also be responsible for entering data into a handheld device and meeting physical requirements, including walking up to 8 hours per day, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working in inclement weather.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrating a good safety record
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- The ability to become Operator Qualified for identified tasks (training provided)
- Decent computer skills for data gathering and download
- Reliability and ability to work independently
- Age 18 or older and a high school diploma or equivalent by first day of employment
