">Northwestern Illinois Association is seeking a highly skilled Vision Supervisor to support our special education services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance, training, and supervision to teachers and/or orientation and mobility specialists.
">Responsibilities

- Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating teachers for specialized programs. ">
- Support Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and ensure proper placement for students with visual impairments. ">
- Supervise and monitor teacher performance, compliance with federal regulations, and program implementation. ">
- Provide educational evaluations and assist in creating customized curricula, adaptations, and goals aligned with state standards. ">
- Coordinate with teachers, parents, and local agencies to address student needs and provide resources. ">
- Maintain inventories, oversee program materials, and complete required reporting. ">
- Facilitate team meetings, staff development, and in-service training. ">
- Act as a liaison between departments, districts, and external service providers. ">
- Participate in professional development and contribute to program improvement initiatives. ">
- Ability to travel within the region. ">
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. ">

Requirements
">We are seeking a candidate with a Master's Degree and PEL with Supervisory endorsement or Type 75 Administrative certificate. Three years of teaching experience is also required.
">Compensation
">The salary range is $85,128 - $132,843 per year, depending on experience.
