NMC is currently recruiting for a Clinic LPN in the Urgent Care. This position is a full-time (80 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 8 a.m. – 8 : 30 p.m. and every other weekend (weekends are not 12 hour shifts).
JOB SUMMARY :
The LPN provides safe nursing care in a timely manner to patients, within the scope of a LPN as defined by the Vermont State Board of Nursing. There would be expectations of cross coverage between the Georgia and St. Albans Urgent Care sites.
PREREQUISITES :
Education : Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing with current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Vermont.
Experience : Two years of experience as a LPN and one year in current NMC LPN position. Serves as an active preceptor / mentor and / or super user for employees. Participates two or more process improvement opportunities within the last 12 months. Proficient to cover other roles throughout your department. Completes mandatory trainings without supervision.
Certifications Required : BLS required
