Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and delivery of meals while ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and production
- Handle food in compliance with dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines
- Support dietary aides in serving meals to residents
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with bussing tables and dishwashing as needed
- Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure efficient meal service
- Provide help to residents with special dietary needs
- Contribute to a positive dining experience for residents
Skills
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling procedures
- Experience as a dietary aide or in food production is beneficial
- Familiarity with assisted living environments is a plus
- Ability to clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques for various diets
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
