Northwestern Medical Center's mission is to provide exceptional healthcare for our community and we are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Environmental Services Technician opportunity.
EXPECTED HOURS / SHIFT : Full-Time, 80 hours bi-weekly, primarily 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm, to include every other weekend
Compensation starts at $17.00 / hour commensurate with experience shift differentials.
JOB SUMMARY :
Responsible for cleaning of patient rooms, clinical and public areas of the medical center; cleans and disinfects all environmental surfaces within the hospital, supports the linen service, collects and transports waste within the hospital using proper handling and disposal techniques.
PREREQUISITES
Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior Experience : Institutional cleaning experience preferred.
