NMC is currently recruiting for a Medical Assistant in Associates in Surgery. This position is a part-time (48 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 8a-4:30p.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Medical Assistant assists the Physician or Provider with daily operations of the clinic. Provides direct patient care rooming patients updating electronic health record, performing necessary ordered procedures and visit preparation. Assists in throughput of the clinic. Assists with order management and patient follow up.
PREREQUISITES:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. MA certification or LNA preferred
Experience: Prior patient care experience preferred.
Certifications Required: BLS required
