As a Medical Imaging Technician Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI units.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, medical histories, and imaging results.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) or Registered Technologist in Imaging Science (RT(R)).
- Valid State License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
