About the Job
This position involves working independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining accurate records, and operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
- Manage patient records, including medical histories and imaging results.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) or Registered Technologist in Imaging Science (RT(R)).
- Valid State License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
