Job Description
This is a day shift position - however there are occasional needs on off-shift hours.
The EMS Continuing Education Specialist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
This role is responsible for the coordination of the respective EMS Systems Continuing Education Program.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5 years of critical care experience.
- One year of teaching.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a current RN License or an EMT-P license, do not need both.
- CERT ACLS
- CERT BLS
- CERT PALS.
Preferred:
- More than 5 years of critical care experience.
- More than 1 year of teaching.
- Previous experience in course coordination
- Associate's or bachelor's degree
- ACLS INSTR
- CERT PALSI
- IDPH INSTR
