Responsibilities :
- The lead specimen processor / receiver is responsible for receiving processing labeling and distributing specimens.
- The position requires a thorough understanding of laboratory specimens as well as the HIS / LIS computer systems.
- The lead will work with the supervisor to evaluate staffing and train employees.
- They are responsible for working with the supervisor for oversight of day to day operations.
