Job Description
The Rehab Business Development Liaison reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The primary responsibility of the Liaison is to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with physicians and targeted referral sources with the objective to drive incremental volume by promoting clinical services and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a system wide business development plan that achieves yearly referral capture rate goals. Development of an outreach timeline with defined goals that addresses the referral development needs of each region.
- Builds relationships with physicians and practice administrators through monthly new physician orientations and onboardings, provider group presentations, and regular office visits.
- Report out business development cycle of work monthly to the rehabilitation leadership team utilizing analytics resources and other appropriate reporting tools to facilitate the identification, tracking and reporting of the prior month’s referral metrics, provider onboarding, and practice issue resolutions.
- Build a relationship of trust through mutual respect, understanding expectations of rehab clinic leadership, physicians, and practice administrators utilizing effective communication.
- Work collaboratively with system marketing leadership to maximize current resources and recommend new opportunities via print and electronic media to promote rehab services.
- Tracking and analysis of key referral/business development metrics.
- Organize and coordinate community outreach and NM events to promote Rehabilitation Services.
- Interact with region directors, managers, and coordinators to identify and develop strategies to target specific area referral needs/growth.
- Communicate to leadership provider patient feedback of scheduling and quality of care issues for resolution.
- Identifies market opportunities within service area aligned with strategy and provides recommendations to leadership.
- Participates in team meetings, special projects and Rehab Services initiatives as identified.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships and strong communication across departments and with all stakeholders.
- Review, update and distribute marketing collateral to requesting practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote new clinics to achieve budgeted volume goals.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Significant computer knowledge
- Resourceful and strong networking abilities
- Minimum 4 years of sales, strategy, business and/or clinical background experience
Preferred:
- Master's Degree
