Job Summary
The Service Advisor role is critical to the client experience and requires a high degree of organizational capability, strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create financial plans in PX (Northwestern Mutual’s proprietary software), agendas, and recommendations
- Join lead advisor in client meetings and serve as “chair 2”
- Aid in client meetings by making presentations, taking notes, completing dictation, and building client relationships
- Implement financial plans for clients with guidance from lead advisor
- Take the lead on routine client questions
- Serve as the primary conduit between the client and operations team
- Manage 401(k) and SIMPLE IRA book of business
- Organize meeting material electronically and utilize technology for better efficiencies
- Gather financial data in advance of review meetings
- Create and analyze reports in YCharts
