Our Northwestern Mutual Aurora office is looking for a (Sales Execution Team) / Office Coordinator. The position is to serve as the primary contact for customers and policy owners, support new Financial Advisors for up to their first three years in the business, and assist with administrative work. Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- Manage office onboarding and starter checklist for each new Financial Rep
- Create illustrations and financial plans; complete and submit insurance applications to underwriting, schedule paramedical exams, communicate with underwriters, and complete post approval customer services activities
- Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with all Financial Advisors supported
- Answer basic policy owner / policy benefit questions
- Maintain compliant electronic client files, complaint files, records and books, continuity plan, and check and order logs
- Assist with phoning prospects and clients to set appointments for Financial Reps
- Greet visitors and direct them appropriately
- Manage day-to-day activities of the office and maintain office organization and cleanliness
- Answer, screen and transfer telephone calls and maintain telephone system and office directory
- Maintain office supply inventory and order office supplies as needed and schedule conference rooms
- Create and manage volunteer activities and assist the Managing Director and Associate Director of Recruiting in building the office culture
- Complete and/or assist with projects as assigned by the Managing Director and Associate Director of Recruiting
qualifications
It is recommended that the SET position have the following qualifications:
- Experience in life insurance and/or financial services industry recommended
- Computer and Microsoft Office experience a must
- Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus
- Multi-line phone experience
- Customer service experience
- Ability to handle detailed work with high degree of accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in problem-solving
- High level of organizational skills
- Professional office skills
- Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions
- Ability to be flexible and open-minded.
Base Salary: 52K bonuses
Office Hours – 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday
