Job Description
We are looking for a high energy, driven, people focused person to join our team. This person has actively demonstrated being a connector in our community. They will manage the first stage of our attraction experience and own the relationship management through selection. They will master the details of Northwestern Mutual, deeply understand the role of the financial advisor, connect in the community and on campuses to proactively identify and develop a pipeline of diverse and inclusive candidates to join our firm. The Recruiter responsibilities include using various channels to look for potential candidates, creating an attraction strategy, contacting passive candidates, and building top talent pipelines for the future. The Recruiter is driven by having, building, and maintaining relationships across campuses and communities to promote the Northwestern Mutual full-time and internship opportunities, and help meet our office's goals for growth. The Recruiter will utilize systems for working with high-level candidates looking for a career change from targeted campuses, majors, and clubs. They are a member of the office leadership team and will be responsible for achieving set activity drivers and goals.
Responsibilities
- Master information regarding all aspects of the financial advisor internship for the attraction experience
- Work with the office leadership team to determine goals & activity drivers
- Execute the office attraction plan to reach activity and candidate goals
- Develop centers of influences or growth partners in the Spokane and surrounding campus communities to help build a pipeline of candidates
- Have weekly meetings to seek recommendations and introductions from external networks
- Participate in community and campus events to promote our NM Inland Northwest brand
- Review all connections received to determine eligibility for initial interviews
- Conduct all initial interviews of candidates received
- Build relationships with candidates through the attraction experience
Accountability & Tracking
- Maintain database of all recruiting & selection activity for the Network Office daily
- Report weekly activity to leadership team
- Utilize home office supported software to maintain the candidate database and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the attraction experience
- Participate in regular (weekly, monthly & quarterly) meetings with the leadership team
- Provide support to leadership team members for attraction & selection efforts
Qualification Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Actively engaged in the Spokane or surrounding communities and/or natural market preferred
- 3 years progressive work experience, preferably in external talent sourcing, business development, recruiting, sales, marketing, or financial services
- Strong research, candidate generation skills, and proven ability to connect with others
- Excellent Communication skills required, Energetic/Magnetic personality, Detail-Oriented, Outgoing, Networking & comfortable Public Speaking
- Social Media Savvy
- Has an interest in growing as a high potential leader within our firm
