The Campus Recruiter & Recruiting Coordinator role plays an integral part in driving campus recruitment results and supporting the Park Avenue Talent Acquisition team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain comprehensive exposure to the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, selection, onboarding, and development processes. Under the direct mentorship of the Director of Talent Acquisition and in partnership with the Director of Training, the Campus Recruiter & Recruiting Coordinator will execute strategic recruiting plans aimed at meeting selection activity, college financial representative contracts, and conversion goals. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities. Additionally, the ideal candidate is a graduate of a local college or university, with a strong presence & relationships within campus athletics, clubs and work.
Responsibilities
Campus Recruitment – Recruiting & Selection Process
- Review resumes, screen candidates, schedule, and conduct initial interviews to evaluate program fit.
- Serve as the main contact for candidates throughout the selection process, communicating key details about the program and administering selection tools (e.g., Culture Index, Market Surveys).
- Collaborate with the Campus Recruiter, College Unit Director (CUD), Contract, Licensing, and Registration (CLR) Coordinator, and leadership to ensure seamless onboarding for interns.
Campus Recruitment – Sourcing & Campus Presence
- Build and manage relationships with on-campus centers of influence (COIs) (professors, department heads, athletics, career services, and student organizations).
- Coordinate and attend on-campus recruiting activities, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality candidates.
- Create a year-round campus engagement strategy and events calendar.
- Develop effective referral sources both within the office and on campus, leveraging current and former interns, Financial Representatives, staff, and leaders.
- Promote the internship program through strategic marketing efforts (social media, online job postings, and campus events, etc.).
- Maintain and develop recruitment and marketing materials to support office recruiting efforts.
- Identify ideal internship candidates by actively searching online platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, etc.
Recruiting Coordination
- Serve as administrative support to our Director of Talent Acquisition and Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
- Coordinate moving candidates through the full time selection process for the Director of Talent Acquisition and Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
- Manage the firm’s Talent Acquisition Social Media Presence.
- Learn the Financial Advisor career so you can properly articulate the value proposition to candidates and Centers of Influence (COIs).
- Send appropriate communications to Financial Advisor candidates to welcome them to the firm and create a friendly, inclusive, white glove experience.
- Serve as a ‘face of the firm’ when candidates come to our office in person by greeting them, giving office tours, and ensuring the person they are meeting is notified of their arrival.
- Be our reporting guru. Understand the tracking of recruitment, on-boarding, and development activity, and prepare reports as directed.
- Maintain candidate database NMTalent and serve as the team subject matter expert.
- Assist in administration of selection profile tools as needed. Create ‘feed lists’ via social media sites.
- Maintain supply of all recruitment e-materials and regularly update materials.
- Manage expenses and credit card receipts for the team.
- Manage calendars appointments for the team and conference room reservations as needed.
- Assist with the onboarding and coordination of training for new team members.
- Coordinate the weekly and monthly recognition systems for our talent acquisition team.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a recruiting or business related field.
- A local college graduate with established relationships and active involvement in school athletics, clubs, and work.
- Bachelor’s degree, in business or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally within a team and engage with all levels of stakeholders.
- Proficiency with sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Handshake.
- Strong personal & professional networks, particularly within campus communities.
- High degree of initiative and organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.

Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
