Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Client Service Advisor are to assist the Advisors in onboarding and supporting clients with investment and insurance planning. Provide data entry and service administrative support for the office operations by following acceptable procedures. Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build plans and prepare recommendations for client meetings.
- Interpret and input client information into financial planning software.
- Attend client meetings to provide additional feedback on financial planning strategies.
- Investment Operations: account opening paperwork completion & tracking, transfers & rollovers, client service requests.
- Insurance Operations: application submission & underwriting, client service requests.
- Support advisors with meeting follow up, case notes, and client scheduling.
GENERAL OPERATIONS
- Maintain updated and compliant files.
- Handle incoming calls to answer client requests for current accounts or direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Document system and process changes.
Qualifications
It is recommended that the individual in this role have the following qualifications:
- Required: Life, Accident & Health License or passed within 30 days of employment
- Required: Securities registration (SIE, Series 7 & 63) or passed within 180 days of employment
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, and/or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated computer experience required. Minimum 40-50 wpm
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in handling detailed work
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to adapt to change, and identify process improvements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
