The Current Landscape
The Operations Director seamlessly coordinates 4 divisions of our client retention department ensuring each family we serve receives the same amazing financial independence planning experience. They empower, encourage, and hold team members accountable. Additionally, they scale the systems needed to deliver that experience across a growing book of business. As part of the Leadership Team, the Operation’s Director anticipates the needs of the firm, strategically plans for its development, recommends necessary changes, and takes independent action within areas of authority. The Operations Director understands the EOS philosophy and makes data driven decisions within that structure.
Responsibilities (include but limited to):
Leadership Team Member
· Participates in the strategic planning and infrastructure and operations management of the office to include understanding the financial health and growth of the network office. Makes the strategic connection between the vision and what needs to be done to support and achieve the vision.
· Leads change management strategy with a continual focus on creating efficiencies and reducing expenses.
· Creates, monitors, and reports on KPIs.
Oversight for Operations (Insurance, Investments, Planning, Client Relations)
· Develops KPIs for each area and cascades KPIs to team goals
· Responsible for strategic vision of staffing, operations and infrastructure.
· Works in partnership with the leadership team to strategically plan for development by recommending changes in staffing, equipment, training and support.
· Has oversight for the operations teams, client servicing teams and prospecting teams.
· Trains team members (or delegates training) in all aspects of their responsibilities.
· Has oversight for performance management and ensures annual performance review practices are followed. Also recommends salary increases and promotions to the leadership team.
· Holds the teams accountable and establishes procedures to document performance problems. If necessary, terminate staff with less than acceptable performance.
· Champions the standardization of processes an ensures they are followed by all.
Policies & Procedures
· Acts as the communication and change management liaison. Reviews all communication and ensures that team members and advisors are informed on a timely basis of any procedure change.
· Establishes and regularly reviews all administrative procedures to ensure that the business needs of the office and the requirements of the home office are being met and if applicable, initiates change management.
· Strategically develops and updates the “Heckmann Financial Way” process documentations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree, preferably in business. MBA desired
· Five or more years of experience in a management position, including hiring, training, planning, and people and program development
· Proven record of managing to KPIs and achieving results
· Proven ability to lead and manage people while building effective teams
· Demonstrated leadership to motivate and hold others accountable
· Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions
· Solid interpersonal and command skills
· Ability to influence others without authority
· Experience in strategic agility and managing vision & purpose
· Ability to manage change and purpose
· Ability to deal with ambiguity
· Demonstrated ability to lead change
· Proven ability to plan strategically for the long and short-term
Salary: Negotiable Based on Experience

Work Location: Onsite/In person strongly preferred. Remote option considered depending on experience and subsequent to a 6-month acclimation period
