Overview
This role provides comprehensive support and execution for all recruiting efforts in either a district network office or a network office. The position involves performing functions that allow the recruiting team to efficiently attract, recruit, select, and onboard financial representatives. Key responsibilities include sourcing, community engagement, maintaining recruitment pipeline files, and facilitating the entire recruitment and onboarding process. Critical competencies in this position include a high degree of organization, attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal savvy, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.
Primary Responsibilities
Recruiting & Selection Support
- Maintain supply of all recruiting materials.
- Track and update recruitment pipeline files.
- Send appropriate communication to candidates for each step of the selection process.
- Coordinate community events and campus career fairs.
- Schedule/reschedule interviews as needed.
- Prepare recruiting activity and tracking reports.
- Provide support to all leadership team members to facilitate the recruitment process.
- Source resumes from recruiting job boards and create referral lists via social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
- Utilize applicant tracking system to update candidate database.
Sourcing & Selection
- Review resumes and schedule initial interviews.
- Own relationship and communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Screen candidates, conduct first interviews, administer screening tools, and guide candidates throughout the process.
- Build and develop effective referral sources within the office, with community advocates, and from a variety of other sources that generate qualified leads.
- Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to promote the office and company brand.
- Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies including social media, flyers, local events, etc.
- Develop relationships with other recruiters to share leads and best practices.
Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis
- Report weekly recruiting activity to the leadership team.
- Develop proficiency and use of home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process.
- Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports.
- Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in the selection process; establish and implement improvements.
- May include the oversight of contract and licensing responsibilities
Onboarding Support
- Communicate timeline and updates for candidate onboarding completion.
- Assist in the candidate’s completion of all contract and licensing paperwork.
- Track completion of onboarding tasks and report progress to leadership.
- Coordinate details of office and materials set-up for new representatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a team member and with all levels of people.
- Experience with prospecting; generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, really, Handshake).
- Strong network of personal/professional advocates or community involvement.
The compensation for this position consists of a base salary, and performance-based variable compensation. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process.
