We care and make a positive difference.Primary Duties & Responsibilities : Provide a discretionary investment capability for the most sophisticated advisors and clients of the Wealth Management Company (WMC).Responsible for portfolio analysis, initial investment recommendation and ongoing management of Private Client Services accounts.Build relationships with internal stakeholders such as Concierge Planning and Regional Sales Directors to increase awareness of PCS and the value it brings to advisors and end clients.Work exclusively with top advisors and their best clients to construct portfolios in accordance with investment objectives of high-net worth clients with sophisticated situations.Provide senior level market and economic thought leadership to our field and their clients.Responsible for delivery and execution of all complexities related to managing an existing book of business (typically $$1 billion or more Assets under Management).Work with Wealth and Investment Management leadership on cross-departmental initiatives designed to enhance the overall investment offerings.Lead a regional portfolio management team focused on growing AUM, clients, and number of advisors using the program.Monitor and manage portfolio allocations relative to investment policy.Create, communicate and execute transition plans for complex tax and investment situations.Educate advisors and their teams on how to best position the Private Client offering within their practices.Qualifications : B.S. Degree in business, finance and / or equivalent, advanced degree preferred.Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFc), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred.Significant background in understanding asset allocation, broad economy / market conditions and metrics.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively present in multiple formats.Extensive experience with equity and fixed income securities, mutual funds and ETFs.Demonstrated ability to analyze investment portfolios.Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills.Technical expertise in standard applications including Bloomberg, Excel, Word.7-10 years of experience in the investment / fiduciary management industry, 5 years of portfolio management and client service experience.Trust investment experience preferred.FINRA Non-registered fingerprinted.This position has been classified as an Associated Person under NMIS guidelines and requires fingerprinting and completion of required form.Compensation Range : Pay Range - Start : $121,030.00Pay Range - End : $224,770.00Northwestern Mutual pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including skills, education, training, credentials and experience.Grow your career with a best-in-class company that puts our client's interests at the center of all we do. Salary : $121,030 - $224,770
