What are the responsibilities and job description for the Northwestern Regional Education Program Administrator position at Northwestern Regional Educational Programs?
Summary:
To provide both leadership and vision to the special education programs and services offered to the school divisions represented by the regional program. In addition, the program administrator is responsible for the continuous organizational development and improvement for the benefit of both the staff and the students receiving services through regional programs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in education, special education and/or leadership required
- Eligible for a Virginia Collegiate Professional Certificate with an endorsement in one or more areas of special education and an endorsement as a principal or a supervisor
- Three to five years' of successful experience as a special education teacher
- Leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community in a public day special education school
- Experience working in a regional program is preferred, yet not required
Pay Rate:
The salary range is $94,400-$159,261
Contract:
Full time / 12 months / 245 days
