Job Description
AmeriCorps Project YES! in West Town is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 program year. Project YES! members will work with children in Chicago schools and non-profits. Members will serve as tutors and mentors, creating volunteer opportunities for students and community members, as well as have the opportunity to partner with classroom teachers and program staff in order to enhance core curriculum and create innovative learning environments. If you are interested in community organizing and education, this opportunity should not be overlooked!

We are seeking members for the 2018-19 service year!
This year’s term of service will begin on September 7, 2018 and run through July 31, 2019.
Minimum Requirements:
· 21 years of age
· U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
· Bachelor’s Degree in any subject
Compensation:
Living Stipend of $13,732; Health Insurance; $5,920 Education Award given upon completion of the service; Forbearance of qualified student loans; Invaluable training and experience.
Interviews will begin the first week of June and continue through the end of August, or until all positions have been filled.
