Overview:
A Measurement Technician is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and tasks that include calibrating, installing, repairing, and testing sour gas regulating and measurement equipment. Work requires the use of computerized equipment to perform gas system testing.
Responsibilities:
The Measurement Tech position at Northwind Midstream Partners LLC provides support with the following roles:
- 5 – 7 years in oil and gas industry and experience with sour gas
- Responsible for the installation, and accuracy of natural gas, and liquid measurement.
- Communicate problems encountered or detected in field by providing supporting documentation to the Supervisor of Measurement in Houston office
- Knowledge of several types of flow computers, and the software depending on location and type
- Knowledge of O2 and H2S analyzers and previous experience with the Y – Z samplers
- Knowledge of collecting and analyzing measurement data when questions arise either from the Houston office or 3rd party
- Performing routine maintenance on a weekly basis to reduce repairs on measurement equipment, and reporting the information to the Measuring group in Houston Office
- Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third party.
- Responsible for general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment for measurement.
- Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor of Science (preferred).

- Measurement Tech will office in the Jal, New Mexico field location.
