Job Overview:
NorthWing Digital is seeking a versatile Web and Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating custom website designs in Figma and producing high-quality graphic design assets for digital paid ads and other marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design, experience in creating responsive and user friendly web layouts, and can balance creativity with brand consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Design custom, user-friendly website layouts and components in Figma, ensuring consistency with client branding and project goals.
- Create visually appealing graphic assets for digital marketing campaigns, including social advertising and other paid digital ads.
- Collaborate with website developers and other team members to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation.
- Work with clients and internal teams to understand the client’s vision and deliver designs that align with their objectives.
- Maintain brand consistency across all design assets and adhere to client guidelines.
- Update and revise designs based on feedback from clients and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to ensure designs are current and innovative.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Recognize opportunities for AI to support the human-led design process and enhance design efficiency.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in web design and graphic design.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong portfolio showcasing custom website designs and digital ad creatives.
- Excellent visual design skills with a focus on user interface (UI) design
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate design concepts and processes effectively.
- Experience with UX design principles
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and WordPress for design implementation.
This position is hybrid, with staff working in the office Tuesday-Thursdays and remote optional on Mondays and Fridays.
