What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Housekeeping position at Northwood Deaconess Health Center?
NDHC has an immediate FULL-TIME opening in our housekeeping/laundry department for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in maintaining a clean, safe home-like environment.
You will work in our hospital, clinic, long-term care, therapy, and office areas to support environmental services housekeeping and laundry responsibilities that include:
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Following established cleaning procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Properly handling and disposing waste materials
- Adhering to infection control protocols in hospital or healthcare settings
You can work a flexible 35-40 hour work week, Monday-Friday. In addition, you will have a rotating weekday on-call schedule for response in early evening hours as needed.
