Primary Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities include:
- Monitor cash balances and prepare wire transfers
- Prepare monthly operating financials for Residential properties (Operating Statements, Balance
- Sheets, Statements of Cash Flows)
- Calculate monthly or quarterly distributions
- Balance Sheet/ Trial Balance reconciliations with month end close
- Bank Reconciliations
- Security Deposit Refund tracking
- Edit and approve AP for each entity weekly
- Record monthly depreciation and amortization schedules
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for 3rd party owners
- Prepare development draws
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Prepare development month end packages
- Calculate sales & use tax
- OPS AP invoice audit daily as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, real estate accounting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
