Job Title : Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Job Specialty : Telemetry
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM, Shift : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM, every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours :
Experience : Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
License : Registered Nurse
Certifications : BLS, NIH
Must-Have : EPIC Charting
Job Description :
- This is a mixed acuity unit.
- Required Skills : IV insertion, blood draws, PICC / Central Line management.
- Experience with : Dialysis Fistula, CPAP / BiPAP, Trach Care, Epidural / PCA pump, Feeding tubes, Wound vac.
- Unit Type : Medsurg, telemetry, Orthopedic.
- Positive team environment and great teamwork.
- Capacity : 24 beds per unit.
- Patient ratio : 5 : 1, can flex to 6 : 1.
- Must be able to read telemetry strips.
- Must be able to titrate medication such as Heparin.
- Scrub Color : Galaxy Blue.
