Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care by coordinating treatment plans, managing patient schedules, and facilitating communication between patients and dental professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, coding, and documentation review, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
Duties
- Coordinate patient treatment plans by reviewing medical histories and collaborating with dental professionals to ensure appropriate care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up for patients, ensuring optimal use of clinic resources.
- Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with medical billing and coding standards, including ICD-10.
- Assist in the management of patient records within the clinic's systems, maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Support patients by providing translation services as needed to enhance their experience at the clinic.
- Collaborate with the dental team to streamline processes and improve overall patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a dental clinic is preferred, this position is ideal for a trained dental assistant
- Familiarity with dental scheduling systems and documentation practices is essential. our office uses Dentrix
- Knowledge of dent billing, coding, and terminology is required to effectively manage treatment coordination.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse patient populations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and scheduling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
