Norton Medical Group's Administrative Fellowship Program is designed to help meet the long term leadership needs of Norton Healthcare. The Postgraduate Fellow serves as a key resource within Norton Healthcare's Executive Leadership Team through strong collaboration with leaders across the system to improve strategic performance of the organization. The goal is to provide fellows an opportunity to grow and develop into the next generation of leaders within our organization and the evolving field of healthcare administration. The Norton Medical Group Fellowship is a two year experience designed to provide the inexperienced manager with the holistic understanding of the organizational dynamics grained from working alongside leaders from every level within Norton Healthcare. This role will require a two year commitment to NHC. The fellow will have a unique opportunity to be exposed to all facets of health care delivery and the internal and external pressures that impact a major community health system at the local and national levels.During the first year, fellow will support leadership at executive level meetings to observe first hand enterprise management, decision making, and delegation. Each rotation is collaboratively developed senior vice presidents, executive preceptors, and the administrative fellow. During rotations, the fellow is assigned to a senior level preceptor who provided feedback and direction, both professionally and personally. With guidance from fellowship preceptors and sponsors, the fellow is encouraged to seek exposures that are tailored to their interest in health care during their second tear. During theses immersions, the fellow will assist as a resource holding more rigorous responsibilities on projects that drive initiatives aligned to the organization's mission and values.Housed within the Greater Louisville Metro area, the Norton Medical Group administrative office is location within the clinical network of the system and is a premier player in strategic growth decisions. The fellow will be housed alongside senior executive leadership including the Chief Administrative, Chief Medical Administrative Office, and System Vice Presidents.
