Responsibilities
Generate written communications targeted for inclusion in internal communications vehicles and public news releases. Support the creative process of developing and managing communications vehicles and special events. Prepare and deliver presentations to both internal and external audiences as necessary to define the communications process and the inherent value add of a comprehensive communications program. Serve as an expediter across multiple communications platforms to facilitate the communications process. Work product may include but is not limited to content for annual reports, employee communications (print and electronic), press releases, talking points, special event plan documents and social media management. Required capabilities include: Excellent written communications skills across multiple business formats. A solid comprehension of media relations basic. Experience in coordinating and managing logistics for meetings, community events, and speaking engagements for company leadership.
**This position has the opportunity to work from home. You may be asked to complete training at a Norton Healthcare facility or be able to come to a Norton Healthcare facility for business purposes. Employees in this role must reside in Kentucky or Indiana**
Qualifications
Required:
- One year in corporate communications, public relations, or community relations
- Bachelor Degree
Desired:
- One year in a not-for-profit healthcare environment
