Responsibilities
Communicates with and implements directives of management for the Clinical Engineering team at the assigned facility. Provides workflow direction as well as works alongside the team to ensure completion of all duties assigned to that specific site and to further meet department goals. Under minimal supervision, works with and leads the team with repairs, calibrations and maintenance of all levels of clinical equipment technologies, devices, instruments, and systems. Inspects, installs, and provides preventive maintenance of general clinical equipment.
Qualifications
Required:
- With degree: Three years repair and maintenance of clinical equipment
- Without degree: Completion of Electronics or U.S. Military Biomedical equipment technology program and Three years repair and maintenance of clinical equipment; Without degree or completion of Electronics or U.S. Military Biomedical equipment technology program: Five years performing repair and maintenance of electronic equipment
- Associate Degree
Desired:
- One year as a team lead.
- Bachelor Degree
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician
